KQHYA Dean Smith Sportsmanship Award

The Kansas Quarter Horse Association presents one youth member with the Dean Smith Sportsmanship award each year. Youth nominated for this award display high moral character, leadership within KQHYA and their communities and a willingness to help their fellow competitors. The award is named in Honor of KQHA Hall of Fame member Dean Smith.
