2025 Kansas Quarter Horse Association Queen

Paige Soper

Paige Soper is from Baldwin City, KS and is the daughter of Austin and Amanda Soper. Paige graduated from Baldwin High School in 2024 and started her first semester at Kansas State University in the fall of 2024 with plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and Industry in the Spring of 2026. In addition to being a student, Paige also works part-time as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Kansas State University Applied Swine Nutrition Team. She is involved at K-State by being a member of the IHSA English Team, Ag Ambassadors, Block and Bridle, and Swine Club. Paige will be spending her summer in Pipestone, MN working as a Nutrition Intern at Pipestone Nutrition with the hopes of gaining experience and knowledge in the swine industry. Paige aspires to continue her education in a graduate program following the completion of her bachelor’s. She plans to focus her education in swine nutrition and helping producers feed America.

Growing up, Paige was heavily involved in 4-H, by showing at the county and state fair, participating in hippology/judging contests, and serving leadership positions in the county horse club. She was a part of the 2022 Reserve Champion National Hippology Team and won numerous other state hippology, quiz bowl, and judging titles. Through AQHA, she placed 2nd overall in the 2021 Young Horse Development Program and 4th in the 2023 Youth Racing Experience. She is the current owner of three AQHA mares which she has shown locally in ranch horse classes for several years. Recently she has been showing in the English division of IHSA through K-State. This has allowed her to continue showing in college without having to travel with her own horses.

As the reigning Kansas Quarter Horse Association queen, Paige hopes to set a precedent for future young ladies interested in the queening experience in Kansas. She will represent KQHA at shows and events throughout the year and is proud to represent her home state at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress Queen contest.
